Privacy notice

Effective date: 21 October 2026

Who looks after your information?

I am Faye Styles, a sole trader trading as Grow With Faye. I am the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this notice. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@growwithfaye.co.uk.

What I collect and why

If you email me, I receive your email address, name and any information you include in your message and our subsequent conversations. I use this information to respond to your enquiry and manage potential client conversations through Google Workspace.

Please only share information that's relevant to your enquiry.

Sending an email enquiry does not subscribe you to a mailing list or constitute consent to receive marketing emails.

The lawful bases I use

Steps before entering a contract: when you ask me to take steps towards a contract with you personally, such as discussing your requirements or preparing a proposal, I use the information necessary to respond to that request.

Legitimate interests: for general enquiries, contacts acting on behalf of a company, and appropriate follow-up and enquiry records, I rely on my interests in responding to business enquiries, developing relevant business relationships and keeping track of our discussions. This use must be necessary and balanced against your rights and reasonable expectations. You can object to it.

If a specific legal obligation requires me to retain information, I rely on that obligation for the relevant processing.

Services I use

I use Google Workspace for business communications and information management, and Vercel to host this website. These providers process information needed to deliver their services.

Website hosting may involve technical information, such as IP addresses and security or diagnostic logs, to operate and protect the site. This is separate from optional visitor analytics.

Information processed outside the UK

These providers and their service partners may process information outside the UK, including in Europe and the United States. Using a UK service address does not mean all processing takes place in the UK.

Google’s published terms provide for recognised adequacy arrangements, including the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, and contractual safeguards where applicable. Vercel’s data-processing terms include standard contractual clauses with the UK transfer addendum.

You can read more in Google’s data-processing terms and Vercel’s data-processing terms. For more information about how your personal information is protected when processed outside the UK, or how to obtain details of the relevant safeguards, please contact hello@growwithfaye.co.uk.

How long I keep information

I retain unsuccessful enquiries for up to 12 months after the last meaningful interaction, unless another legitimate or legal reason requires a different period. I then delete or anonymise the information through periodic manual reviews of relevant business emails.

Where a different period is needed, I record the reason and review it. Information that becomes part of a client relationship may need a different retention period, which will be explained as appropriate.

Website analytics and cookies

Optional visitor analytics are currently disabled on this coming-soon website. It does not use analytics cookies, advertising trackers or browser storage for analytics preferences.

This website has no enquiry form. Clicking the email link opens your chosen email application.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access your personal information, correct inaccuracies, erase information, restrict its use or receive it in a portable format. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions in UK data protection law.

To make a request, email hello@growwithfaye.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Automated decisions

No automated lead scoring or automated decision-making is currently used.
